Biography

Mukhtarkhan Isanov was born in 1959 in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan.

In 1978, he graduated from the Republican Art College named after P. Benkov.

In 1985, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Theatre and Arts named after M. Ostrovsky.

From 1988 to 1991, Isanov continued his artistic education at the Creative Workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts in Tashkent.

Since 1990, he has been a member of the Artistic Association of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

He lives and works in Tashkent.

Throughout his career, Mukhtarkhan Isanov has exhibited internationally, participating in exhibitions and biennales in Uzbekistan, Russia, the Netherlands, Germany, China, Latvia, Bangladesh, Italy, Kyrgyzstan and the United States.

His career has included solo exhibitions, international biennales, museum exhibitions and large-scale cultural projects.

In 2024, marking his 65th anniversary, his personal exhibition Connection of Generations was presented at the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
